Visitors at Aquarium should not leave any valuable things in their cars.  The area has been targeted by thefts for many years.  There should be a security system at this particular parking lot.  It is so sad to see the visitors whose cars are broken into in Vancouver. Entering the light show is free.  Riding the train and visiting the Farmyard costs $8 for an adult and $5 for children and seniors.  It is great place to visit with children for having fun. Limited washrooms are somehow open though.  Visitors are looking for available washrooms in the park whole day.  I feel sorry for them, especially for small children.  According to the Vancouver Sun newspaper, the strike will continue for a while.  Visitors need to adjust to the situations caused by the strike.

Available Washrooms near Vancouver Aquarium are: at the Information center and Stanley Park Pavilion Cafe. When I was in the park this afternoon, a roll of thunder started.  Since there are many tall trees in the park, it's possible that the trees could be struck by lighting.  However, after 20 minuets of heavy rain, the sky cleared up, and the park became calm again.
