Spinnaker, the dolphin, died last Thursday. He was at least 25 years old. Now, the aquarium has two more dolphins, Hana and Helen. It would be nice if they can have a male dolphin in near future.

I've heard that penguins are coming to Aquarium in this spring. I somehow found out where they are going to be. It is the back of the Aquarium where people can peek animals for free. I wonder how penguins are displayed there. It is still under construction.

Vancouver Aquarium's major construction seems to be started. They have finished a new entrance, and now they are preparing to dig out the ground. One of my favourite trees, hazelnut, was cut down. However, this is the process... there will be upgraded aquarium in Vancouver in several years.

I went to Vancouver Aquarium last week. I saw a new showcase of pacific herring. Black monkeys were also very cute.

During the holiday season, electric eel was displayed as an energy source for the Christmas tree at Vancouver Aquarium. The middle part of the christmas tree sometimes flashes. Those are the lights which the eel is lighting up.

Tiqa, the beluga wale, died this morning at about 5:45 am. She was so adorable baby. Everybody will miss her.
