Public Washroom closed in Stanley Park due to the city workers' strike
2007/07/24 07:25
Public washrooms are closed in Stanley Park from July
23. Limited washrooms are somehow open though.
Visitors are looking for available washrooms in the
park whole day. I feel sorry for them, especially for
small children. According to the Vancouver Sun
newspaper, the strike will continue for a while.
Visitors need to adjust to the situations caused by
the strike.
Available Washrooms near Vancouver Aquarium are: at the Information center and Stanley Park Pavilion Cafe.
Visitors need to bring their own toilet paper to the park.

Thunder
2007/06/24 20:10
It was sunny and rainy day today. When I was in the
park this afternoon, a roll of thunder started. Since
there are many tall trees in the park, it's possible
that the trees could be struck by lighting. However,
after 20 minuets of heavy rain, the sky cleared up,
and the park became calm again. The sunset is at 9:22
pm tonight, so people can enjoy walking around the
park at dusk.
