coyote

I saw a coyote two days ago near Aquarium. It was such a beautiful coyote walking across the green area. Dogs were barking so loud. Some people are tweeting about it. I did not have a camera, but here is the picture from CTV British Columbia.

My first encounter with Burrow Owl

Finally, I encountered with Burrow Owl! I was wondering around the woods near the aquarium, then he/she was there sitting on a tree branch. It was around 2 pm in the afternoon. But, I did not bring my camera! I did not want to miss this opportunity, so I asked a couple walking near me to take a picture. The very kind gentleman took the picture and send it to me. So here it is!

Squirrel eating maple seeds

I saw some squirrels eating something on the top of the Maple Tree last month. At first, I thought they were eating maple leaves. But, of course they were eating seeds not leaves. Nothing special about it, but it was my first time to see them eating maple seeds.

Sea Gull swallows a flouder

I saw a sea gull trying to sallow a flounder as a whole piece last month. There are many kind of fishes around Stanley Park. It seems like September and October are the best season to catch a special kind of fish. Some local fishermen appear at the seawall as well as sea gulls.

Canada Geese

Canada Geese live in Stanley Park.

duckling

In may, there are many ducklings walking with their mother in the Park. They are so tiny and cute.
